I have been working as a DJ for many years now, I started at the age of 11 using the school’s P.A system. The music teacher asked me to take the P.A system to the School Hall and he will set it up when he gets there, by the time he arrived I had plugged it all in and started a sound check, I had never touched a P.A system until that day. I was hooked!!
I started working when I left School and saved up buying bits of P.A , I was 17 when I did my very first paid gig, I then started my first residency in a local pub in Bury, Lancashire, I have never looked back since.
Before I became a full time DJ, in my younger days, I used to work at Tesco PLC and I gigged for the majority of the stores staff birthdays, christenings and weddings.
In my carer as a DJ I have worked all kinds of events and met all kinds of wonderful people including celebrities such as DJ Sammy & Loona, Bass Hunter, Jason Donovan and Kelly Lorena to name but a few! I have gigged all over the North West in places such as Manchester, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport, Bolton, Preston, Blackburn etc Inc installing P.A & Lighting for Manchester’s Gay Pride (What an honour) Bury Lancashire (My home town). I have gigged in a fair few venues in and around Stockport, Ashton Under Lyne, Stalybridge, Cheadle Hulme, Warrington, Llangollen, Mold, Pontybodkin, Bolton, Accrington and Bacup.
I have supplied P.A for many events and have engineered many gigs for bands and singers Worship bands duos and singers including the likes of Godfrey Birtill, Gregory & Turner, Plus Freedom Church Worship Band. Also, I have provided P.A for many fun days including Reddish Carnival and Reddfest these have been outdoor events where a larger P.A has been required.
I also attended Glyndwr University studying Sound Technology Bsc
I am currently in the process of setting up so I can hire equipment and work with bands also conference work too and am constantly looking to offer more services to meet the ever-changing needs of the public!
I am enjoying my time at the moment with Absolute DJs Ltd as this gives me the foundation to become one of the best DJs within the North West of England.
